Open Class Exhibits
Not part of 4-H, FFA, or Grange? You can still take part in the Fair! Our Open Class divisions are open to all ages and include livestock, produce, baked goods, crafts, art, photography, and more. It’s a great way to share your skills and be part of the tradition.

The Pend Oreille County Fair is proud to showcase the hard work, skills, and dedication of our local 4-H, FFA, and Grange members. These organizations play a vital role in teaching leadership, responsibility, and agricultural knowledge — and they’re an important part of what makes our fair a success each year.
4-H – Head, Heart, Hands, Health
4-H is the largest youth organization in the nation, focusing on hands-on learning and life skills for youth ages 5–19. Members work on projects ranging from animal care to cooking, arts, and science.

FFA – Future Farmers of America
FFA is a youth leadership organization preparing members for careers in agriculture and related fields. With a focus on premier leadership, personal growth, and career success, FFA teaches skills in animal science, crop production, mechanics, agribusiness, and more.

Grange Youth Programs
The Grange is a community service organization that supports agriculture, rural communities, and youth leadership. Through their Junior and Youth programs, the Grange encourages young members to engage in public speaking, project work, and community improvement activities.
At the Pend Oreille County Fair, Grange members display their talents in everything from home economics to agricultural projects, carrying on a tradition of service and fellowship.
